• Cellular Apple Watch SE with watchOS 7 or later

For the best possible performance, we recommend using the latest Apple WatchOS.

You will need an iPhone when first setting up your watch with a data plan. Compatible iPhones include the iPhone 6s or later running iOS 14 or later.

What if my iPhone uses a different provider?

You can use a BetterRoaming Apple Watch plan even if your iPhone is connected to another network provider.

However, please note that iPhones purchased directly from a carrier may sometimes be network-locked. If your device is locked, it must be unlocked before activating a BetterRoamingᵀᴹ eSIM on your Apple Watch.

To remove a network lock, contact your current mobile carrier directly.
